Unfortunately, that's not true by a long shot!

Pryor’s acts expose charade of college athletics
"Pryor is a godsend to anyone who believes the business of college athletics is little more than a smoke-and-mirror show of situational ethics, selective enforcement and tightly controlled public relations designed to dodge taxes and make millionaires out of administrators.
Perhaps no player has ever exposed the system and its handlers more clearly than Pryor leading into Tuesday’s Sugar Bowl against Arkansas. He may not have consciously planned to do what he’s doing – although I suspect he has a clue – but he’s become a WikiLeaks in shoulder pads; a “30 For 30” special in real time."

I think they were referring to the players, not the coach
Kat, I read that article today, good stuff. Pryor sure has some back luck on the rare occasions he drives loaner cars.

Finally, a bowl game worth watching........
I was amazed at the variety of offensive formations and trick plays that both teams used. A very entertaining matchup and a credit to college football. Too bad we don't see that kind of effort more often.....
Congrats to Auburn for winning the BCS Championship! Hats off to a very good Oregon team that also played a great game.......

More trouble for Auburn as a couple of recruits high school coach is saying "Hey were did you guys get the iphones, bling, and money" to which was responded "at our UNOFFICIAL visits to Auburn". Now those recruits are saying their parents bought it all.............yep and Maurice Taylors loaded 40k Suv was bought by his Aunt on welfare.......we know how that turned out for the Fab Five generation

The winning team (TCU) has nothing to gain and everything to lose in playing a rematch. And vice versa for Wisconsin. How could you not want to play immediately again to try and redeem yourself? I'm sure every team Wisconsin beat this season would have loved to play them again, but that's not how it works. Not only that, this potential game was to be in Madison, with no future game in Fort Worth.
Sorry, Badgers, you had your chance.

They beat Wisconsin on a neutral field with the whole country watching. So now they are "chickens" because they will not come to your house for a rematch (with quite a different team now)? Ridiculous. Like Chip said, you had your chance.
I guess Boise State will have to show Wisconsin how to beat TCU- again.

Because people are stupid.
I'm curious to see if Auburn fans take the high road.

Yeah, probably not. I didn't go to a school with a big time sports program, we were Div 3 for everything except hockey which was Div 1, but I can understand how passionate people can be about rivalries. I can't, however, see how killing trees can make you feel good about your school. Stealing a mascot, provided you give it back in one piece, sure. Painting a rock thatis meant to be painted, okay. But destruction of property? Sheesh.

This is what happens we you have a school pretending to be a PRO-Team and welcomes all the trash as fans. I have no problems with people cheering on a school they like but way to many people consider themselves "part of the program" when the truth is they have no connection to the school itself. Its these uneducated fans that are the trouble makers 90 % of the time.
I cant tell you how many times a week some WT will come out of nowhere with no provocation and will tell me how my school "sucks" when they see my sweatshirt or license plate. I usually say "when did you graduate?", to which they reply either "why do you have to actually go to the school to be a fan", or "I couldnt afford to go there but I couldve" . Yep sure, more like your a idiot.

I heard that thousands of Alabama fans donated to a collection to buy new trees for Auburn.
I think that is just down right cool....
