I could have sworn that today on the car radio I heard a blurb by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones apologizing for his team's 1-7 record??????

Embarassed owner apologizes for team's dismal showing.

The Jests played about 5 minutes of football today but they picked the right part of the game to play.

Well, darn if that Jerry Jones isn't some kind of psychic........he must have known that last night's game in Green Bay was going to be another loss.....Bfan53again wrote:Did I hear this right????Hockey Mon wrote:Thud.aeroparrot wrote:Lost to the Lions..... again. When you look back at the mess their coach went through last year and look at their record vs the rest of the NFL, you gotta feel good for the guy. BTW, I hate the silver and black and have for decades.Lightning Bolt wrote:I can't believe I'm screaming for hated RAIDUHS to win... and they come through!Tequila Revenge wrote:I never thought I would have the thought that today's KC vs Oakland match up should be a good game.
Oh, and the NFL is a better place when the Browns and Lions are playing good football too.

I just hope the Browns got it out of their system beating the Saints and the Patriots. I'd like to see the Jests give their old coach's new team a beatdown next week.

I'm thinking Rob's gonna have a big game plan against his twin brother. Should be a good game.

Re: 2010 NFL Season
Falcons beat the Ravens last night......and Atlanta deserved the win.
Thankfully it was on the NFL Network (which I don't subscribe to) so I spared myself the agony of seeing the game.
Both QBs, Flacco for the Ravens & Ryan for the Falcons, came to the NFL in the same draft (2008). It's amazing how much further along that Matt Ryan has come.....he is becoming one of the top QBs in the league. Flacco continues to struggle with defensive reads, footwork, and often takes sacks that hurt the team at the worst time in the game.
Overall, the Raven defense is mere shell of years past. The offense suffers with poor play calling (especially in the red zone), inconsistent line play, and penalties. Special teams are a disaster.
How this team is even 6-3 at this point is beyond logic......![grrrrrr [smilie=grrrrrr.gif]](./images/smilies/grrrrrr.gif)

Lights are out at Giants Stadium. Game is being delayed.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
