With their victory over the Bears yesterday, the Patriots have clinched the first of the AFC Playoff spots.

Dear Dan Synder - please put a dome over FedEx field.
Dear God - please make 20 inches of snow fall on Fed Ex field and collapse the dome and have the Redskins game played some place else. I can't take it anymore.

Well, once again the Ravens blew a 2nd half lead.....they were very lucky to win the game against Houston.
Hats off to the Texans for not quitting (and, yes, they really should have won that game!).
Baltimore is a frustrating 9-4 team at this point. A recap of the 2010 season: No offense in the 2nd half, defense is a shell of its former self (when it was dominating), and coaching decisions have been questionable most every game.
If they make the playoffs (and that might be a big "if") I see them as one game and out......quite frankly, the way the Pats are playing, I'm not sure any team will beat them this year!

Sal Alosi is only a lowly strength and conditioning coach who tripped a player on the sidelines. Maybe if he was a 2 time Super Bowl winning quarterback who raped a 20 year old drunk college girl in a bar people would go a little easier on him.

From today's Globe...
More turbulence:
Former Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas accused the Jets of deliberately forming a human wall on their sideline to interfere with Dolphins’ gunner Nolan Carroll during Sunday’s game.
Carroll was purposely tripped by Sal Alosi, the Jets’ strength and conditioning coach, but Thomas said he believes Alosi wasn’t acting alone. Carroll left with a leg injury but later returned.
“They had to be ordered to stand there because they’re foot to foot,’’ Thomas said on Miami radio station WQAM. “There’s four of them, side to side — five of them, I mean — on the edge of the coach’s zone. They’re only out there to restrict the space of the gunner.
“If [Alosi] just stood there, there would never have been a problem, even if the guy got tripped. But there’s more to this. He was ordered to stand there.’’Continued...

Why should you go directly to Invesco Field @ Mile High in the event of a tornado warning?
Because the chance of a touchdown is slim to none.

Zach Thomas is an ass. There's a wide white border around NFL football fields. The only requirement for personnel on the sidelines is to be behind that white border. The people from the Jets, including Alosi, were all behind the line. Alosi was wrong to stick his knee out and trip the guy but if the Dolphins player had run into any of the people standing there it's a case of "oh well, $h!t happens." They have no obligation to get out of the way as long as they don't intentionally interfere with anyone. If Alosi hadn't stuck his knee out this would be a non-story.

There is a call to not guarantee home field advantage to division winners.

The Jets are trying to use the same line the Pats used during "Spygate."
