But I was going to buy last minute tickets for Philly and it looks like I"ll be helping son with vet bills. He will be going back a few more times. He vomited tonight and I saw some string so we may be back at the bet tomorrow.

It isn't uncommon that when they have kennel cough, they can vomit/cough up some goopy stuff.

This was sewing thread. I saw the vomit, jumped because it was moving all over and realized it was attached to his mouth by a piece of thread. I hope that was all there was. I hope the vomit eliminated whatever he ate. He has seemed much better today, although his appetite is down. The cough is calming down and his eyes look better.tigzoe wrote:It isn't uncommon that when they have kennel cough, they can vomit/cough up some goopy stuff.

If you have a k9 police unit in or near you, ask them for help. they trained my terrier in 20 minutes to stop being aggressive.

My son works with a canine officer on beach patrol. I'll have him do this.

How's the pup doing?
Well...(said in my best Bubba voice) I've been on sabbatical.

He's not sick anymore so he's back to his evil ways. Ha. We are back on track with the training plan after being forced to take almost a week off. His trainer refunded half of the money last night and said she couldn't figure out how else to help.

Glad to know he's feeling better at least. I'm sure he'll come around. Perhaps another trainer with a different technique too?OceanCityGirl wrote:He's not sick anymore so he's back to his evil ways. BTW has the pup been fixed? Sometimes male pups are aggressive until that is done. (sorry if this has already been addressed before, I'm too lazy to read back)

He was scheduled and it was postponed because he was sick. Now he's on ten days of antibiotics and they won't be able to do it until he's done. There's also a two week, at least, wait so once he canceled we had to start over rescheduling. We are hoping this will help but the aggression started before he started lifting his leg.

You know lifting of the leg doesn't necessarily mean a thing when it comes to the hormones flowing. I once had a male dog that never lifted his leg and was never fixed. I'd be willing to bet that the agression will lesson when he's fixed. That and maybe more training plus help with the K9 officer.OceanCityGirl wrote:He was scheduled and it was postponed because he was sick. having him neutered will certainly help out over time. it isn't like a light switch, it does take some time for the hormones to settle down.OceanCityGirl wrote:He was scheduled and it was postponed because he was sick.
