WOW...went away for a week and missed this entire thread...

How exciting to be at that show! I obviously went in the wrong direction!!

What a tough bunch here though! Nothing like hanging the poor guy!

I absolutely agree that Couganata should not have told anyone here about the show.
Technology is far too advanced and too many people would show up...like at Lulu's. They have to control the crowds. It is overwhelming how fast news travels.

And I agree with Surfpirate...he just sounded excited to be there. The problem is that everyone reads into every little word,
which you can't do with all these typewritten words... it is simply not the same as the spoken word.

And what's with ganging up on him? Give him a break. In my opinion, the people who have been around here for years with 1000's and 1000's of posts
should be more gracious and accepting of the newer folks. He wasn't trying to rub anyone's nose in it, just trying to share a special Jimmy moment which a lot of us here have done.

I missed this while on vacation too. I was at MV/NF the week after it opened and was so hoping he'd show up. I dragged all the non-Parrotheads I was traveling with to the restaurant. We all had a good time anyway.

Ok, here are some of my pictures from the show. They were shot on my Canon XSi with a 18-55mm IS lens. I was shooting in 4272x2848 so these are way scaled down in size and quality. Also, I was playing around with settings trying not to use the flash and p*** Jimmy off so some of the results are better than others. Hope you enjoy!!

Great pictures!!! I guarantee Jimmy appreciated you not using the flash. What settings did you mess with? Were you shooting jpeg and raw?
