Capt. Morgan just posted on his facebook page that Jimmy was getting ready to play? I can't get RM right now? Anyone have info on this?

Apparently Kev is at MArgaritaville - one table from the stage...not sure if he meant Jimmy was there....

I posted a note here before noon---guess it wasn't clear enough! And Jim for MapleReefers was keeping us informed. No way I could get there freom here, but you Torontonians might have had a chance.

Well, this is handy. Me and the family are going on vacation next week to Niagara Falls and Toronto. I may have to work a visit in somehow.

I've got RM on right now.........not Jimmy.....but they are playing other Margaritaville's...........wonder if they're leading in for 5:00?

I have a capture going in case they switch over. It sounds like they may not stream this one, tho. Just heard Steve mention tonight's concert replay in a few hours...

Just got back, iniders were tipped off this weekend of the event. Amazing to be so close and see him in a bar, truly a dream of mine. Mac was there last night and I pics with him. I didn't post it to make sure people didn't start putting the pieces together. Videos and photos to follow.

Gotta agree with C-Dawg on this one...I was in Rochester yesterday and easily could have ran up to Niagara Falls if I knew Mac was there. I definately would have made the trip if I knew Jimmy was gonna be there today.

Yep, I agree. Or if you were going to keep quiet last night you should have also kept quiet today and not rubbed people's noses in it... I couldn't have been there anyway but I feel for those of you who would have been in range...

Gargh...I'm very disappointed. Been waiting for this since they announced the Margaritaville and I couldn't get in.

Checked the site this morning like I always do...was about 8:45...guess I just missed the post by a few minutes. Was out all day and got a call from the WNY Parrothead club at 3:45. Dropped what I was doing and headed there as quickly as possible...got there about 5:05.

They weren't letting anyone in. The whole place was locked down. Yet there were only about 20 people waiting outside...and half of them were tourists waiting for dinner, having no idea what was going on. I was very disappointed not to get in.

I was able to hear it fine and watch the screen they had on the patio, but just not the same. Apparently the PH club was aware of this yesterday but could not start making calls until 3:30 when it was "official." I wish they leaked a rumor.

I posted in the other Niagara thread that our PH club was told this was happening but that the Maple Reefers didn't know when. Pam, Dave & Carol, Marilyn and I had looked into driving or flying but didn't because we didn't know exactly when this was happening (were told probably before Aug. 1st) . If we'd had 24 hours notice, I'm sure some of us would have been there, but I guess that was Couganata's point of staying quiet....to keep most of us away
After the generosity and good will recently shown at the Gulf Shores show, with VIP upgrades given away by Mother Hen, and PHs giving tickets away to strangers....it was really surprising and sad to read Couganata's post about keeping this secret.

Come on yall...

If he posted about the show and it ended up not happening, he would have been raked over the coals just like he is now.
