I agree with your margarita post.....100% agave tequila is the only way to go. No hangover is so wonderful !!!!!!!

I need a good recipe for a blue margarita. I had one once at a place in Nashville, and haven't found one as good since. Besides good silver tequila (100% agave), blue curacao, good quality lime juice, what am I missing ? Grand Marnier ?

I would use Cointreau, but that's as much a personal choice as anything else. GM is a little more orangey than Cointreau.citcat wrote:I need a good recipe for a blue margarita. 2oz Tequila, 1oz fresh lime juice, .5oz blue curacao, .5oz Cointreau or GM. Shake the bejeesus out of it and serve.
Keep in mind that blue curacao is a similar liqueur to GM and Cointreau, just lower quality, so you could ditch the curacao, up the GM/Cointreau to 1oz, and throw in blue food coloring.
