I had to chuckle while listening to JD on RM yesterday driving home from work. He said he hoped listeners caught Thursday's concert live on RM coming from "just west of Pennsylvania"........

I had 2nd row seats the year after one of the times I had front row seats.
Could NOT get out of my mind how disappointed I was ... and I spent much of the show
annoyed as I watched the persons in *my* front row seats
who were only half giving-a-damn about the show. Grrrr.

I was sitting on the lawn when a LN guy came up to the front and started passing out tix for Section 1 in the pavilion. Not bad for the price of a discounted lawn seat!

Surfpirate, Couldn't believe how many people with better seats came in late. Or left halfway through the show. Or didn't know the words to any songs other than the yellow album.

(My profession, his off season job back home), we actually communicate a bit when he is on the road. Oddly never involving music/concerts/J.B . normally for advice .

This does not help me get tickets or anything, the best it gets me is a picture and smile . I just know how to hustle and get them . Its a fine art.

Honestly, if the only effort you put into getting your tickets, is sleeping in late and hitting *redial* on your phone or
*enter* on your keyboard at exactly 10:00am, well ... it's you vs. tens of thousands of others.
