The sheer joy of holding the winning lottery ticket in your hand as you call into work to tell your boss (that you never really liked, but pretended you did just because you had to): "I'm calling in gone......."

OK, I never really had that ticket, but I have thought about it......especially on a Sunday evening after a good weekend! :o :pirate:

Being able to imagine is fun......and free!!!!!

It took about 5 minutes to go one block. On the way back to the office, just as slow as the outbound trip, some guy asked me if I knew how to get to Central Park. I said "Yes" and continued my trip back to the office.
My mother and I won a trip to NYC back in '98 for the NBA All-Star basketball game. We stayed at the Hilton Towers near W 54th Street (included in the prize), and on Sunday we went to Mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral and then walked over to Rockefeller Center. It was early February so the tree was down, of course, but we did get to see the famed ice rink beneath the statue of Prometheus. After having seen it on TV, WERE WE DISAPPOINTED!!! We couldn't believe how small it actually was; only about 2/3 the size of a regulation hockey rink!!
..so the Rangers DON'T practice there at the rink at 30 Rock?? :o
I coulda swore I thought I heard someone tell me they did...

The Rangers don't even practice in New York City, their practice facility is in Westchester County.

getting lost in time and thought standing waist deep in a river only thinking about that trout
the soft fur and smell of a puppy
morning coffee
a good meal you grilled and enjoyed out on the deck with a nice bottle of wine.... even better if you made the wine
looking forward to fall colors and spring wildflowers
the first fire in the wood stove- looking forward to winter
the last fire in the wood stove- looking forward to summer
farmers markets
watching the hello's and good bye's of others in airports (I travel quite a bit)
new birds at the bird feeder
everyday you can wear your sandals- yep, even in winter (Chaco's fan myself)
watching a thunder storm

ever notice the things people are listing don't cost $$$$ but are priceless?
Oh there's nothing like "puppy breath" Our customers always bring in their new puppies and we all have to get a couple of kisses!
I've kissed a puppy or several.

Specail "little things" I enjoy

Hearing Hot, Hot, Hot is up there for me (It was also my ringtone for quite a while)

Hearing "Here We Are" (My current ringrtone)

Hearing Jerry O'Donnell announce that "the bases are loaded with LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONS"

one of my kitties purring in my lap

watching my cats play with their favorite toy

The look on Nutmeg's face when I hold her like a baby in my arms. She stares at me like I'm the most wonderful person in the world  It makes me feel like I'm on top of the world

The first sight of THE BRIDGE when crossing to the Upper Peninsula

The beach along highway 2 which is stunning

Finding an agate on Lake Superior's shoreline

Seeing a lighthouse

watching the wood duck fly in and out of their house in the morning and evening at the cabin

Holding hands with my husband even though we've been married 25 years

Sunset or sunrise anywhere.

I don't miss a thing from my work commute (It was usually only two blocks and about all I ever saw was other people on their way to Dow Center) I worked in a couple of other locations, but none were far enough away to qualify as much of a "commute"

I would only add to this....wading in a northern PA creek fishing for said trout and having the great experience of having a very curious river otter come visit you.

Watching your husband, who you have been with for 7 years, beam with pride over the last couple of weeks because he just figured out you can start a campfire, cast a rod and shoot a pistol. Hey, we live in Texas...it means a lot. :D

At least if you get lost in the wilderness with him you can now feel good that you have a means to survive

Seemed like a good day to bump this

A few more

Being greeted by your pets
re-reading a favorite book
watching the sun rise and set
finding a really good pen you love to write with

How about:

not having to go anywhere on a cold, rainy day

remembering a good joke or story and laughing out loud about it later

having no cavities when you visit the dentist

Getting a phone call from your 2 1/2 yr. old grandson saying, "Thank you Nana for the Spiderman suit !" (costume) and hearing he wears it every day, even to Sam's and a restaurant !!!!!!
Everybody says to him, "HI, Spiderman" and he said to his dad, "Daddy, everybody knows me !"
