Need help ... CRITTER"POLE"OOZA dance tunes mix tape

Post by surfpirate »

As you may or may not know, CRITTER"POLE"-OOZA III at the Labor Day Weekend Shows
will feature an *aeorobics dance pole* complete with shower head for that water effect.
I need to put together a good *mix tape* of danceable tunes.

So far I have:

.... You Shook Me All Night Long (ACDC)
.... Pour Some Sugar on Me ( Def Leppard)
.... Girls, Girls, Girls (Motley Crue)
.... Dude Looks Like a Lady (Aerosmith)
.... Rain Is A Good Thing (Luke Bryan)
.... Nautical Wheelers (Jimmy Buffett) *

* ok, maybe not

Suggestions? I don't suppose there is ANYTHING both buffetty/trock rockable AND danceable that could make the list?

Feel free to head out to some strip clubs this weekend to help me with my research.

"Rain Is A Good Thing" was a tune I wasn't familiar with until somebody sent me this ..... and I liked it so it made the list.

A Little Less Conversation -- Elvis
Looks That Kill -- Motley Crue
Unskinny Bop -- Poison
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Should I have an equal mix of slow/sexy along with fast/jumping?

As much as I like slow/sexy .... I thing the *party* theme needs more fast, hoppin', rockin' dancin' tunes.

Slow/sexy works .... but works better for one-on-one (think lap dances, etc.).

This needs to keep a group and crowd active and involved.

Thoughts?
