these are among my all time fav movies! My dad and I would watch them together and were always special memories! These and the cannonball movies of course! hmmm.. now I need to put them in my queue!!! hahaha...

Tam, have you ever seen "The Gumball Rally" with Michael Sarrazin and Gary Busey? A comedy similar to the Cannonball Run(s) but without so much slapstick, it predates the Burt Reynolds movies by at least five years. -"BB"-

Sorry Bill but if you look at the pic of the "Island Republic of Critterville Key" you will see that you actually must go North East to get to where the Grog is. Now Northeast bound and round just doesn't sound right so I just went with East Bound.

You're a little mixed up there, pair8head. If you stand facing north, west will be to your left, not east.
If you were to superimpose this compass rose over the "north" arrow in SP's strip, you will see that Parrotsburg Point is roughly northwest of the Cove. Hence, "westbound and down".
Coming back with the load of hootch, it will be "Eastbound and round"...... -"BB"-

You are correct sir but I'm in an alternate world where east is west and up is down.
