Anyone heard anything about Buffett opening the new Amway Center on 1 Oct? It looks like quite a few of the Coral Reefers are going to be in Central Florida on Oct 2 and 3 in Cocoa Village.

Seems to make sense that Buffett would open one of the best brand new venues in Florida.

It's the new huge $400M NBA arena that is opening in Orlando on 1 Oct.

The Eagles are playing Oct 7. The city has not announced the opening event yet. The mayor has indicated it's not the Eagles. Thought it might be Buffett. Long association with Orlando and FL, home to one of his M'Vlle locations, etc. Just wondering if anyone on BN had heard any rumors.

Could be on the 1st but on the 2nd Mac is already playing a solo show.

Thanks. As mentioned in my orig post I thought it convenient that many of the other Coral Reefers were playing in Cocoa Village (about 45 minutes east of Orlando) on Oct 2 and 3 and that maybe Buffett would open the new Center on the 1st. I didn't think to check Mac's schedule. With him playing in MS on the 2nd, it's less likely they'd all play on the 1st - but I guess Mac could fly up to MS on the morning of the 2nd after the show the night before.
