A Japanese artist put together this animated map of the world showing every nuclear explosion from the beginning up to the India and Pakistan test in 1998.

Remember — this just shows the test sites (and of course, Hiroshima and Nagasaki) where the nukes have actually been detonated, and correlates them to the countries that have done the tests. It doesn't begin to show who else has or may have nukes but haven't set one off yet........ or who has the potential to construct one.

They also used US Navy Sailors on test in the Pacific. I used to work with a guy who underwent a physical every year (on the Government dime) because he was present at a test when he was in the Navy.
