Marshall Chapman has a bit part in the movie as the tour bus driver. She's currently on tour promoting her new book They Came To Nashville and new album (Big Lonesome, which is dedicated to the late Tim Krekel, a former Coral Reefer). If she comes to your town I highly recommend checking her out. I attended her book signing/reading/performance at Quail Ridge Books last year and very thoroughly enjoyed it. She's coming back through the area next weekend and I'd love to see her again. She's got some really great stories and songs to share. You can find her tour dates on her blog.
