Peter Mayer "Moonlight Over Paris"

Post by Tiki Bar »

Westcoast Rendez-vouz has posted an album of way cool pix of Peter and Jim by the Eiffel Tower, on Peter's facebook page, taken yesterday at a video shoot of them singing "Moonlight Over Paris".

According to a caption under one of the pictures, “Virgin Megastore Champs-Elysees avenue - Westcoast Music section (the only one worldwide for a big record store) introducing The California Groove 2 - 4 CDs box set (Rhino France / Warner France) which features PM "Moonlight Over Paris" song.”

Googling, I found:

The song is on two of Peter’s cd’s:

You say you’ve been overseas
I say over where
You say just a holiday
My alsatian heir
I say I’ve been working late, working overtime
Haven’t seen the sun since eighty-nine

Does the moonlight shine on paris
After the sun goes down
If the london bridge is falling
Will anybody hear a sound
If you follow the sunset will it ever end
Does the moonlight shine on paris

Oh and how can you just walk away
Is it something that I said
I see only black and white
You see green and red
You believe in the miracles
Water into wine
I believe it when it makes the new york times

Does the moonlight shine on paris
After the sun goes down
If the london bridge is falling
Will anybody hear a sound
If you follow the sunset will it ever end
Does the moonlight shine on paris
You’re still grinning, we’re still winning, nothing left to say
I’m still gliding as I go flying down this endless wave

Cool! Thanx, JoAnn! :D
A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!
