I imagine because that's a one off show, the US shows likely need to be coordinated for travel efficiency

Efficiency is over-rated (just kidding) How about showing Charlotte, NC some love next year!!
Can't answer your question about the Paris show.....but your new pal Groovy looks pretty cool! :pirate:
Actually it was a little strange...I was looking at my ticket confirmations from last years show and they were from June.......so about 3 1/2 months out...which is fairly normal....When I saw the announcement this year I thought that it must be some mistake..... :o :o :o But now it was the real deal..... ordered the tickets via mail (just to make sure I had them in hand and they arrived a day and a half later via DHL..... :o :o :o So just like a baby...in about 9 months we'll be in Paris for the delivery..... :o :o :D :D 8)

Hoping he skips St. Loo in favor of KC, preferably at our new soccer stadium.

Kc's okay too...just a short roadtrip. Better yet KC and STL during the same week would be great. Not sure if about the soccer stadium thing. How's the tailgating prospects there?

Pretty decent. The new soccer stadium is actually on the Kansas side, out by the NASCAR track. There is a mall area there, but parking could be of some concern. It's by a mall area with plenty of restaurants, so it has that going for it.

The reason I think it may be a good venue is because we have gone with some friends the last couple years to Frisco, and that makes a great venue.

I'd love to see Atlantic City return to the tour schedule in 2011........my wife and I really enjoyed the concert at Convention Hall in 2009 :pirate:

Never been to Frisco but I have been to Toyota Park. The tailgating was great and the stadium was good. I still prefer the lawn area though.

I'm planning to fly over the pond for maybe a week or two, mainly to see a JB show or two (and enjoy some tailgating!) :P
Preferably on the east coast, since this would reduce flight cost (I suppose) and travel time.
And me too thinks it's funny to have a concert date for europe before any dates in the US are announced...

So, looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you next year!

Have a PHintastic Christmas time and a happy new year

I have done both Frisco and Toyota Park in CHI (3 times) and my vote is CHI over Frisco. Had to park in muddy grass, and made for really "sloshy, muddy" tailgating! CHI is mostly gravel. Why not Arrowhead in KC???
I am seeing ZBB w/ Kenny Cheesy there in July, so why not Jimmy???
I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there.
With a tin cup for a chalice
Fill it up with good red wine...or Rose, as Jimmy said!!!

I miss my dorsal FIN!

I'm sure someone will find the thread but it seems to me it was February. I was in my office when I saw the GW announcement - stopped what I was doing immediately, called a handful of PH friends and then booked the hotel.

It was a good day. :D

Hoping for Raleigh and/or Tampa in spring.

I think I've finally reached the "ho-hum" stage. I used to really look forward to the announcement of concert dates. Now, not so much. Oh well.

It was either late January or early February. I remember organizing the ticket buying and tailgating plan for STL at our annual Valentine's dinner with friends.

The hostess just loved me taking over her party. [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]
