Josh Hamilton has had substance abuse issues. At his lowest, he went home to his grandmother and she nursed/strong armed him back. He has never shied away from what he's been through. And when it's easiest to slip just a little (which he's done in the past)

It would be nice if this was splashed across the pages of the supermarket tabloids instead of all the bad boy behavior - a sports star who is actually a GOOD role model for once.

We saw an episode of "Flip This House" a few years ago where Josh was featured and how he turned his life around.
