I just thought that Jimmy has played some baseball stadiums in the past years. Anyone can think of what baseball stadium should he try to play as for next year.
I was think in Philadelphia again.
What can you think of about it?

Orioles Park at Camden Yard, Baltimore
Rumor has it that he almost closed a deal to play there at one time.
I hope he tries again

I'd rather pay a higher price and see him in a minor league stadium, Mellencamp & Dylan did a tour like that last summer. I gotta believe the views would be much better, and you can still get 10,000+ in many parks, not counting field seats. Plus, MLB mandates that you can't have seats on the infield, I'll bet minor league parks don't have that rule.

MANY years ago I saw a show with numerous acts at a football stadium. Didn't enjoy... Prefer an actual outdoor stadium used for concerts.

Dylan did that for years, 3 or 4, called it his never ending tour, in the winter he would (obviously) move to indoor venues that were just him and his band and the summers he had different opening acts every year, some more famous than others. General Admission got me within 20 feet of the stage. (If I remember right, they didn't have any seats on the field, but a tarp covering everything.)

That's the reason I didn't go to the Texas Stadium show back in 2004. Texas Stadium was never a good place for a concert of any kind. I can't think of any sports venue I've been to that has a good sound for a concert.

I *really* don't like ball parks and sports stadiums for concerts. Fenway Park was cool because it was Fenway, but unless you were on the field the sound was terrible. I was very happy to go back to Great Woods the following year.
Football or soccer stadiums? UGH. The sound is terrible and they're just way too big.

I enjoyed the Wrigley shows and heard he talked about St. Louis last year. STL is my vote for 11.

I would just as soon Jimmy continues to play at Verizon in St. Louis. The tailgaiting at Busch would be almost impossible especially if he plays on Tuesday or Thursday. Parking close to Busch on workdays is very limited.

I wouldn't argue that. Just a JB concert makes me happy, a concert on a Saturday night would be great!!!
I am not the biggest fan of Verizon though. JB is the ONLY time I will go there.

I think Verizon is okay and only go there for JB and the classic rock bands that come through town and offer $10 - $20 lawn seats (Styx, Foreigner and Kansas together this past summer for $10). The big problem with Verizon is getting out of the damn parking lot when the show is over. You would think after all these years they would put in another exit on the south side of the parking lot to Earth City Expressway.

I would have thought alot of things to better Verizon. I would have been wrong!!!
Added entrances/exits is just WAY to common sense for those folks! Maybe another bathroom or two while they are at it.

Truth be told, I'd probably go see Jimmy play a concert at a local Little League field......
With apologies to all Phillies fans, the only 2 times I've been to Citizens Bank Ballpark in my life is to see JB concerts......but I'm sure it's a great place for baseball, too!
