That's awesome Mike!! Good for y'all!!! How many songs did they do? Can you name them in order? ;-) Did you get to chat with any of them after??

Either way, what a great December 2nd!

By the time they got on stage my bar tab was $50+ (not including food) so things are a bit fuzzy and I was not in 'remembering' mode but 'enjoying' mode. Other pholks on Facebook will probably do a better job listing songs than I will but I'll give it a shot.
Mac on stage solo first did 'it's my job' and . . . ?
Then Will joins Mac for a couple of songs . . . 'nobody/nowhere' and ?
Then Jimmy joins in and does songs like 'wings', 'son/son/sailor', 'pirate looks at 40', 'west nashville grand ballroom gown', 'fins', others I can't remember and closes with 'margaritaville'.
Jimmy also tells some stories about his previous failed show biz careers in Nashville and other misc short stories. Before 'west/nash/ball/gown' Jimmy asks if anybody knows the mating call of a southern belle. Answer - "y'all, I'm drunk!!!"
Surprise show lasted about 1 1/2+ hour then "elvis" left the building :(

What dnw said!! That's a perfectly wonderful recap! LOVE the southern belle mating call ~ I'll have to remember that!

I much prefer the 'enjoying mode' over the 'remembering mode', 'reporting mode', AND 'recording mode'. Enjoying is the way to go, and I wish more people would do it.

Sounds like the mating call of the Blond.
"I'm so drunk"

then the mating call of the Brunet
"Did the Blond leave?"

Cool pics, Mike....we're working on coming to Nashville for New Year's Eve. We've done downtown Nashvegas before, liked it very much. Someday Gary's gonna have to tell you the story about me + drinks + motorcycle rickshaw thingie.  I know, the Tennessee game on the 30th has left Nashville and surrounding area hotel room-less. But we have a bead on a condo, let us now pray we get it..............................

You can probably find a cheaper room away from down town and use the savings to take a cab. On a night like New Year's Eve I usually stay home where it's a bit safer :o
I've never rode the rickshaw-cycle but I've almost been run over by it a few times :o
