Peter Mayer Christmas Show

Post by STL Parrot »

Has anyone seen Peter Mayer's Christmas show? He is coming to a local church in December and I was wondering if it is something we should plan on seeing.

We've seen it the last 2 years and are going again this winter. It's a wonderful evening. You'll enjoy it.

Hey All -- Kevin & I just got 14 tickets for BNers & friends for the 12/12 Stars & Promises show in Lancaster. We are inviting all to our house sometime late afternoon to visit before the show. If you are interested send us a pm (we live about 15 min from the church).

2010 will be the 5th year in a row that my wife and I have seen Peter Mayer's Stars & Promises Christmas concert. The show has really evolved over this time with more elaborate lighting and staging, additional musicians, but the music remains the same: excellent in every way.

This is a beautiful production that has become a Christmas tradition for us. My wife says that the Holiday season doesn't really start until we see S&P.

Go see it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

We saw him in NC in Sept of this year and had a wonderful time. Was looking forward to a NC S&P show but it appears it was canceled. I need to go back and check to see if the show is back on the calendar.

I wouldn't miss it if I were you. It is a great show and it is all Christmas music. No Buffett tunes.

Happily he's bringing it to MA so I have a shot at getting there (unless we have a blizzard) My mom and I usually go to the Boston Pops Holiday Concert but I think we might do this instead

I had "lost" Christmas until I saw his show several years ago in Tulsa. I don't even remember the drive home. 8)

I've seen the show 3 different times, different mix of musicians each time. The PMG is fantastic.

Enjoy.
