We didn't get dates last year until February 15th and they went on sale a week later.

Speculate speculate……..Second weekend of JazzFest is May 6th-8th.

Just booked my room at Harrahs STL for $49 for May 3rd. It is refundable with 24 hours notice. Last year I got the room for $69 and by the time the concert was officially announced the rate jumped to $179 or $199.

anyone want to speculate on a venue for this supposed KC show?

royals are home that weekend, and i dont think the soccer stadium will be done yet, so that leaves sprint center i guess???

yes, but in the lower bowl they removed about half of the seats to create a general admission pit area, and the seats that remain in the lower bowl are GA as well. the upper seating area is still reserved

not sure if this would really be an option, unless they price the GA tickets at $150

There's a chance the soccer stadium could be open by then. As I understand it, they are ahead of the schedule and Sporting KC's first home game is 6/11. Not crazy to think it could be ready to go 6 weeks before the first home game.
