Frisco 2011

While I'm excited for folks going to Jazz fest, I really wanted Frisco to be on that date....grrrrrrrrr......there may not be a texas show for me otherwise.....

In the 4 years he's played Frisco, all on Saturdays, last year was the only time he played Houston the Thursday before.

thanks, that's what I was thinking because we had always *wished* they were back to back so we could see him twice. Last year I was very sick after a total knee replacement and had a staph infection also our eldest was graduating. This year the only thing that could keep me from Frisco is not being able to get through when the tickets go on sale.

Hmmm....some different venues this year in April. Gets hot quick in Texas in May. Wondering if there will be a Frisco this year.

Hmmm, looks like KC is my option if he skips Frisco, and I think I would pass if it is at Jerry World. Keeping my fingers crossed he comes the following weekend.

He played Frisco May 22 last year so positive thoughts for a late May show in Frisco...

I will be very sad if Frisco does not happen

But I will admit I am excited that he is doing JazzFest since I am in NOLA that weekend for a conference anyway.

I hate to say this but looking at the announced dates.. Jimmy has concerts on the weekend 4 weerks in a row.... I have a feeling he will take a couple of weeks off after Jazzfest and then hit Texas at the end of May like last year... say around the 21st or 27th??? Just my 2 cents worth!!

They just need to announce already! He hasn't skipped Frisco for ages, let this year be no different. I don't really care when he plays, just that he plays. Hot's fine. The concert doesn't start until early afternoon and we'll all be adults about sunscreen. Those clueless sunburned days are a thing of the past.

the 27th would work well. My birthday is on the 28th, so that would be one heck of a weekend celebration for me.

If it's the 27th, I'm definitely out. Isn't that Memorial Day weekend? There's no way I'm traveling anywhere on a holiday weekend.

Geez, was it really May 22 last year? I have Sometimer's Disease, thought it was much earlier! But the 27th would make a nice anniversary present...don't see it happening on a holiday weekend, though. Maybe I should change my backup hotel reservation just in case.
