Key Largo. Can't go wrong with Bogart flicks.

We saw Thor in 3D today. I really had no interest in seeing it but my wife wanted to.
It was awesome, visually stunning and had lots of great effects and action.
We were very entertained.
If you see it don't forget to watch after the credits.

I had NO idea what I was getting into here. Goes to show you should always read the product description before renting.
I had NO idea either, I put movies in my Netflix Queue based on who is in them sometimes without any research.........I caught so much H*** over this one. I still think Jim Carrey is funny as H*** in this though.

Glad I didn't pay to see it. Wouldn't recommend it. Wasn't an Adrien Brody fan before this either.

I didn't think it was all that bad but it was prime evidence of the old adage about not being able to go home again. Nearly 20 years between movies is a very long stretch to try to pick up on the same magic again and it shows here.

BRIDESMAIDS

don't be fooled by the title, this a funnier-than-hell, raunchy Judd Apatow classic 8)
everyone in the theater was howling!

ParrotheadRPB wrote:Just watched Alfred Hitchcocks ROPE. Its a great movie, loved it. Im a big Hitchcock fan, but this was my first time watching this one.

I'm doing a Essential Hitchcock festival (for myself). This past weekend was "The 39 Steps" . I used the Criterion DVD release from 10 years ago. Up next: "Rebecca".

Also in the middle of a W.C. Fields retrospective.

This past weekend I did a double bill of "Play It Again Sam" and "The Purple Rose of Cairo".

I have three Stanley Kubrick movies left to watch in the next few days.

I second Bridesmaids. It wasn't at all a chick flick. My cheeks hurt from laughing by the end of it. It was gross and uncomfortable, exactly what I expect from Apatow. Melissa McCarthy stole her scene

A more apt title would have been Nowhere as in, this movies goes... While I've enjoyed the other Sofia Coppola movies I've seen (Lost In Translation, The Virgin Suicides), what may have worked for them didn't work for this one, at least not for me.

I'm probably one of the biggest fan of obscure indie arthouse flicks around here, and I saw this last year and....

it was just incredible NOTHINGNESS. I don't think I've ever seen a film of so little meaning ...and that DID NOT make it "hip" or "cool" or anything.
A true waste of my time and money...
