It apparently includes Marshall Chapman in what most likely amounts to little more than a cameo role as the bus driver but even that isn't enough to prompt me to rent it.

But did you watch it x3?
I knew this girl made of memories and phrases, who lived her whole life in both chapters and stages.
Danced 'til the dawn, wished all her worries away.
She's a long way from a West Nashville grand ballroom gown.

Another one not worth wasting your time on. This is an attempt at a G-rated, family-type Western but all it succeeds in is some terribly bad acting.

Watched this documentary last night that's included as a DVD in the
West Coast Seattle Boy collection. Being born in 1962, I was aware of lots of music when I was kid, including Hendrix but it wasn't until much later in life that I came to fully appreciate him. Hearing Bootsy Collins recite Hendrix' own recollections throughout this movie helps to bring him to life in a way that lifts him up out of the pages of rock n' roll history books and makes him more than a static image. All of the interviews and concert footage also does a lot to make you think of Hendrix in the here and now rather than as another rock n' roll casualty.

Another stinker. I was surprised too, especially given the otherwise wonderful cast.

"The Help". Really good. I loved the book. Before that, "Midnight in Paris". I loved that movie. I could have seen it over and over.

It wasn't great and it wasn't bad. Just something to do on a slow day at work.

Interesting and worth watching. If nothing else, Banky and McFly together made it fun!
