I guess I'm on a Danny McBride kick. This one was alright. Danny seemed to work his usual tricks into this character. Watching Natalie Portman is always nice. I really like movies with Zooey Deschanel also but she didn't have a lot of scenes unfortunately.

Will Ferrell shows that he can actually act.

Not your usual action-thriller but that doesn't mean there's no edge of your seat moments.

Didn't really care for the main character at the start of the movie but by the end I felt like I'd at least learned from him, just like his co-stars in the film.

Really liked this one. Kristen Wiig is a riot as she learns to curse

Liked this one more as it went on. Had a hard time keeping my attention in the beginning.

Funny but nearly as funny as it was made out to be.

While Fargo, O Brother, Where Art Thou? and No Country For Old Men are some of my favorites, there's a few Coen brothers that only serve to confuse me. This was one of them. I actually had to do some reading up on it afterwards to help me understand what I'd just seen.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this one but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's set in the 80s and thus has a bit of an 80's movie feel (thanks largely to the soundtrack) but without the cheese of so many movies that came out back then.

At the risk of my "man card", I took my stepdaughter and grandaughter to
see "The Lion KIng" in 3-D. It was great. I had taken my daughters to see
the original version back in 1994. 3-D affects were pretty cool this time around. :pirate:
