I watched the Chris Rock version of "Death At A Funeral" a few weeks back. Like most Chris Rock movies it was just okay and it had a couple funny parts. I like his stand up routines but his movies are just something to do much like Sandler movies are nowadays. All imo of course.
& it was only 99 cents...

It's actually one of those movies that seems to stay with me for days after seeing it. Dreams ... I'm probably overly intrigued by them anyway, so may be why I liked the movie.
I really enjoyed this one, watched it at IMAX.

I'm watching Lost from the beginning to the end. I know it isn't technically a fillm but I needed something to put on my netflix queue. I'm on Season 2 disc 5. Only 4 more seasons to go.

A tradition in our house is to watch Christmas Vacation on Thanksgiving night. We know all the lines and look forward every year to that being the kickoff of our Christmas season in our house.

I don't know if I'm embarrassed or not to say it but I'm watching "The Wizard of Oz" for probably the 1000th time - at this point I could do a one woman show of it! But I can never resist when it's on!

I'd heard about this one for years but didn't get around to renting it until last night. From what I've read, the original version is more concise so I was thinking I might have been better off watching it first. Well, too late now. Once the movie was over I was left scratching my head. Rather than waste the time watching it again in an effort to figure it out I looked up the plot online so I could understand what I'd just seen. Good movie I guess but a viewer shouldn't have to go to that much trouble trying to piece a film together. On the other hand, I don't like when everything is laid right out for you either.

We watched a couple of them over Thanksgiving....
First one was "Prince of Persia." Not terrible, although it seemed like the characters would just get to one place and then have to go chasing somewhere else to find whatever it was they were after.
Other was "The Expendables." LOTS of explosions, weaponry, a cool plane and a pretty girl. Plot was a little thin, but that's to be expected. Actually had so much gore (to the point of being cartoonish) that dear wife didn't finish watching the movie.

I loved the Expendables. So much explosions, blood and guts that I nearly had a mangasm

I did that about a month ago. It was great to re-visit all those early episodes.
Not that I understood anything better

Come on, you loved it, you know it. You also knew going in it was going to be way different...........if they could hurry along part 2 that'd be great....how about release it in January
I've seen And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 three times since it's been out. I also sprinkled two viewings of Inception during that time. Both really good.

Watched this last night via PBS' website. You can still watch the entire movie (along with lots of extra footage)
here if you so desire. Even though I consider myself fairly well versed in this era of Lennon's life (particularly after the excellent
U.S. vs. John Lennon) I found I still had a lot to learn after watching this spellbinding documentary (which aired as part of PBS'
American Masters series). Even then, they couldn't possibly fit everything into what amounts to a very short two hours. Highly recommended to any fan of the Beatles/John Lennon. Sean's new band, The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger is playing here soon. Most of his solo material over the years hasn't really interested me that much but I may just have to go check him out.

I'm not a James Bond fanatic by any stretch of the imagination but this had all the touchstones of a great Bond flick. Looking forwarding to checking out
Quantum of Solace next.

Casino Royale was great but Q of S was a major letdown to me.
