Festival Idea - He has to do it once

Imagine a 2 or 3 day concert! He could invite other artists like

Jack Johnson
Zach Brown
Dave Mathews

and a bunch of smaller artists.

Phish did this a bunch of times. Why not JB?

Look, he is not going to tour forever. I wish he'd do something totally different.

I said before when he finally tosses out his anchor there should be an all day Trop-Rock Festival to not so much to take his place but at least fill the void.

I know I would go.

I picked Dave Mathews and Jack Johnson because those seem to be two artists that JB likes.
Would you prefer Zach Brown and Tom Petty?

I am talking about something completely different from MMOTM or Jazz Fest. Actually, not really. What I am saying is combine the two! But make the center of it all a bunch of concerts by Buffett, not just one.

I do not know if there is anything called Parrotstock already, but that's wht I am thinking.

Yep there's Parrotstock in Myrtle Beach each year.
There's also the MidWinter Meltdown in January.
And Troprock the Smokies and STARS in Gulf Shores and A1A Beach Bash in St. Augustine and the Phlock at the Rock near Branson and Flipperstock in St. Louis, etc. etc. etc.....all events with great Trop Rock musicians !!!
Oh...wait...theres also PardiGras in New Orleans and "Stars on the Water" in August in VA and ParrotHead Rendezvous in April in Panama City, etc etc etc !!!!
No Jimmy at any of these events but that's what the concerts are for, I guess. :D :D :D

I thought he tried something like this several years back (Parrotheadpalooza?) or at least mentioned the idea of it. If I remember correctly, the idea was to have a traveling festival that would only hit the major markets in an effort to cut down on more extensive touring. I believe some of the names bandied about were on Margaritaville Records at the time such as the Iguanas. If nothing else, I think he had some of the bands play in the parking lot prior to the show but again, I may be wrong about this.
