DO IT! I can promise you won't regret it. This is the 20th anniversary and I'm sure Charlotte has lots of great things planned. Plus the periodic update emails keep you excited about it all year.

This was in the Tradewind Times:
"We’ll once again dance through the streets in celebration and relax on the beach or poolside as music fills our ears and cold boat drinks fill our glasses paying attention as
sightings of Norman Paperman (aka Jimmy Buffett) are rumored to be true."
Well let's just get the coconut telegraph working right now!!!

Maybe I'll go down there NOW and set up shop by where the stage is. Because if he shows up on Thursday night it could be a real mess. We almost got trampled in St Barts and we'd been waiting in the front row for 12 hours!

Hmm, this might help me and my SO to decide if we can justify spending about 5000$ for two weeks vacation across the pond...

It was SOOOO hot! I don't even know how many huge bottles of water we went through, but I'd do it again tomorrow given the chance! Being able to run over to Le Select for cheeseburgers and drinks was a plus - it was about half a block away!

And it's just that kind of stupid behavior that could assure that he NEVER shows up.
I really doubt Charlotte would tip that particular hand this early. Now there might be a sit in at Peters show or something - much more controllable sized crowd. Assuming he decides to be in the area at all.

Well i have always gone to support all of the independent artists that are at MOTM and to see my friends who go from all over the country and who i might only get to see once a year. Some feel they are entitled for Jimmy to show up and get pi$$ed every year when he doesn't. A big fat drunk guy shoved me into a barrier that year (2009) that is when i left and went back to the Hog's breath to see the rest of John Frinzi's show. and from what i have heard from people who were there the years that he did show up it was crazy for security.
