we cleaned the house this morning from top to bottom and it wasn't left. I am glad you made it to TPA safely.

Horrible news out of Key West today. The driver and throttle man of "Big Thunder", one of the boats from Sunday's parade, were killed. They boat caught wake, flipped over and the cab took the majority of the impact. I took the top photo Sunday in front of my condo.

Thoughts and prayers to the families.

Back from our first MOTM and we had a blast. We met many from the forum and big thanks for including us in the group.

We got to partake in some tonga juice which was delicious. Tam I do hope your ankle will heal fast and if your gonna have something happen like this at least it was the last day.

I am still recovering and look forward to having a long weekend coming up. My tolerance to night after night of drinking and standing proved I just can't do it. LOL

Dave and Carol, hope your flights went well ((hugs))

Pam, didn't even get a text or a goodbye??

Hope our paths cross again soon. We won't make it next year, need to get to the panhandle next spring. We haven't been back for many years and it is time. Then again maybe a Tampa and then just roll on over to the panhandle??

That's one of the reasons I don't go anymore. NY is crowded enough, I don't need to deal with that crap when I'm on vacation.

I didnt see any fights..... thankfully. But there was a really rude guy standing behind us at the street party. He kept pushing people- like both hand on you, shoving. Pushed my husband once for no reason.... I am assuming that he had too many, but he didnt appear to be drunk- just a jerk. Wasnt the typical atmosphere that I am used to as far as going to see Jimmy.

I am surprised that no one pushed back honestly.

well!!! I dont even know where to begin!
I guess with my lovely parting gift from Key West! I slipped on some coral and twisted my ankle pretty badly. On crutches and in a boot... go to the dr up here early next week to see what I really did to it! Thanks much to my awesome roomies who helped me out there! And sorry that I had to make Marilyn not only call 911... twice... but for coming with me to the hospital! You are a trooper and a true friend!

Highlights?! geez.. how in the world can you pick one!? there were so many! The Thursday show at Capt Tony's was amazing and thanks to those of you that showed up! Promise that next year I'll give you a lot more notice! Dinners at the house, Dante's pool party... hearing that 10 year old at the Rum Barrell! Dang!!!

and then there's Homemade Wine.... wow! First, dont go party with them your last night on the island (see my injury notes above!). They not only sound amazing but are the coolest, fun guys! Loved their show at Schooners and the Lazy Gecko! Great vibes!

a huge highlight was kayaking with Chris, Marilyn, Randy, Tracy, Glenda and Capt Gene! If you havent gotten out to do that.. highly suggest it!

oh ya.. and there was that show on Friday in the street... what was his name... ?! hehe..

Our MOTM experience was amazing..there were so many highlights I can't possibly name them all. Spending the week with great friends and everday there were gut splitting laughs, tears generated by the beautiful songs delivered by the singer/songwriters, and the crazy late night antics. I loved it all. We didn't have any problems at streetfest but when you are surrounded by Chris, Tommy, Jack and Matt your pretty much safe. Thank you everyone for a fabulous week.
