My Gators have been fun to watch. I've been to a few games and it's kinda cool to see the young guys play. A few times, we were playing with 3 or 4 freshman on the floor at once. We lost to a top ten Ohio State and haven't had any big wins yet. We play both Kansas State and Xavier in December before we get into the SEC part of the schedule.

We've play at Tennessee on Jan. 11th but Pearl won't be there becasue he doesn't know how to tell the truth.

Gooo Gators!!!

That's excellent news for you guys, because Billy D doesn't know how to beat Pearl. I believe he's 1-9 against him if my memory serves me right. Ouch!

i was sorta surprised at there ranking....yes they knocked off 2 high ranked teams....but they are young....unless Kemba is going to drop 30 every night....i think it could be a tough go this year...but it does bring some excitement for the season so far

How about after knocking off #7 Villanova for the NIT Tip-Off Championship in Madison Square Garden, we took a little trip to Pittsburg and dominated #3 Pitt who led for only the first offensive possesion of the game. Does that answer your question, Jack? 8)

HOW 'BOUT 'DEM BALLERVOLS!!!

Not to talk smack Jack, but I was sitting in St. Louis last year watching my Vols play in the Elite 8 while UConn was losing the 2nd round of the NIT Tournament. The great thing is we don't have to wait until March. We'll be heading up to the XL Center on January 22nd! See you then!
Your bad B.R., I was the one smacking your Vols, Not Jack.

Not that my Wolverines have ANYTHING on anybody, but our instate rivals from East Lansing tends to do solid in the Regular season before kicking azz come tournament time. That's the blueprint I'd like to see from my team if I'm a college B-Ball fan!
Hey, maybe this IS your year. Maybe this bit with Coach Pearl will help unite the team to overcome the adversity. [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

Dangit, Ken! Oakland is a good team and Tennessee did not play well at all. The Benson kid is the real deal and he frustrated many of our players. I got the opportunity to sit about 3 feet behind the Vols bench and to hear the interaction going on was quite interesting to say the least. Bottom line was Scotty Hopson forgot to show up and it hurt the whole team. Good win, Ken. We'll get 'em next time!

I know they're up & coming..& they've been in the tourney (and played well) on more than 1 occasion. On paper they should SPANK my Wolverines. Here's hoping we somehow sneak out a win to help OUR RPI! :pirate:

Yeah, Johnson, Kentucky is tough to beat at home. That is why they have that impressive 23 game home win streak.

There is a big game tonight. Florida plays Alabama at 7pm and the winner will clinch at least a share of the conference title.
