Cheapest flight from NY is $1600 but that's JFK-Charlotte-Chicago-LA-Sydney. A 1 stop flight is a little over $2200. Not that I was thinking of going anyway.

It would be very cool! Would have to win the lotto here too. Flights are $2500 per person. Think I will start playing the lottery again. Our dream trip has always been Australia and NZ. Maybe one day....

Keep selling it Creeky - it's as close to me as he's going to get so the less people I have to fight tickets for the better. Any indication as to when that show might be announced? It would have to be soon, wouldn't it? There really isn't a hell of a lot up there really, so I am hoping for a winery/intimate show...fingers crossed! Enjoy Sydney Creeky - you've waited so patiently!

More tickets for the kiwis But you are right - there really is not much up there. Like a day trip around the bay on a boat is nice - but there is not a lot of people living up there etc. Would make more sense to be on the harbour in Auckland with all the sailboats!

No doubt about that - then I would be like you, 20 minutes away. Still, I'll take a 4 hour drive north for the chance to see him again - this time in this country.

It's fantastic to see Jimmy back "downunder" but why no "Jimmy Buffett on the Green" shows. Smack middle of our summer with many vineyard regions (and $$) on offer. A missed opportunity to see the man in an outdoor, relaxed atmosphere.
