Not an announcement, rather a wish for next December.

Listening to the Christmas Island cd, my mind wanders to how cool it would be to see Jimmy and the band perform a concert of just Christmas tunes... the songs on Christmas Island, songs off of the new Robert G Coral Reefer Christmas cd, including Winter Wonderland, songs from Peter's Stars and Promises, and more! I think it would be absolutely spectacular! The final encore could be Jimmy reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.

I think the concert or concerts should be in Florida.

Please Santa, that's what I want for Christmas next year! What a fun way for Jimmy to celebrate 65!

Cool Idea especially if he added some songs that are not on Christmas Island.
That said, I'd rather have another Christmas album with more originals. Christmas Island gets rotation from me but is just so-so & could have been much better imo.

My mom passed away in November of 2007. I received a lot of very much appreciated sympathy cards. However, a co-worker of mine sent me a sympathy card of a different kind. She felt that I needed to be cheered up, and she knew that I was a JB fan. She bought me the Christmas Island CD instead of a sympathy card. It did cheer me up.

sorry about your mom. I know it's a hard time of year to lose a parent. But what a thoughtful friend you have, and what excellent taste she has!!

A Buffett Christmas concert is one that I would not be fighting to get a ticket for. I listen to some, not a lot of, Christmas music every year but a concert of it isn't something I'd be interested in seeing. Or hearing. More tickets for the rest of you.
