I admire all you guys who already have everything booked..... But it's not for me. Decided to wait a while till we know if there are going to be any other shows around the same time. Would hate to miss something like Peter and Jim did last year. It was something very special.

Joyeux Noel et bonne annee!

If you go to the olympia site and pretend you are going to buy tickets. If you then press on the placement button it will show you the seats. May have to try a few dates before your seats or some near them came up.

We recieved our tickets already!!!!!! Came home tonight and there was a yellow DHL envelope on the table....... Inside tickets to the show....DAMB that was almost too quick.....now where the heck am I gonna stash these until September where I'll remember where I stashed 'em....?!?!?!?!?!?!? :o :o :o :o :o
I always keep my tickets in the refrigerator...couple reasons.

One: most of todays tickets are heat-printed. I had one set of tickets turn black because of the heat they endured BEFORE the concert

Two: I know where they are....and all my ticket-stubs too. I could keep Butter in that little section, think that's what it's made for, but tickets go there in my frig.

I've got a set for John Melloncamp in there, waiting on April!

En considérant les lignes d'années précédentes, c'était très facile et très rapide cette année, était cela non ? ?

Roxanne, le Noël Joyeux aussi! :D Nous vous verrons à Paris l'année prochaine!!

When should we think about flights? I found our flights, same as last year for price and the seats are wide open now. However, I just paid off Christmas  Next I have two trips to Disneyworld for the kids, more money, then our white water raft. I am thinking I will the money for the flight...oh about March. [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]

What kind of raft you are you Buying? We got a new self bailer a couple of years ago and love it.......

Also check TripAdvisor.com for reviews on hotels and other lodging- helps weed out the bad ones!

So some advice is asked for. I am thinking about flying in the week before and making time in Edinburgh and London. Preliminary research shows London as an in/out from Miami as the cheapest. My question is this: is travel, via rail or bus, convenient and cheap enough to do that? Thanks!

Rail travel is a good way to go....if you book here (rather than there) you can get a decent discount......rail travel in Europe is cool and fun....

We have stayed at the Hotel Cordelia twice and last year at the Queen Mary both Hotels next door to each other and fine and near the venue. Susan (Fabduo) stayed in a nice hotel. We may try a different hotel this time and will see where No Shoes (Roxane) and Alan (Am West) are going to stay. Now not booking flights or hotel at the moment just in case Jimmy decides to tie in the Parish show with a London show. Thanks Marcus for the plan of the Olympia - we really have got good seats Nos. 47 & 49.

I have a very close contact to Jimmy says there are no plans for any other shows around that time.Paris is usually an exclusive trip going by past years.

Definately book well ahead for the London to Scotland part of the trip as train fares within the UK can be high. Good place to start is www.thetrainline.com. However a flight via either Ryanair or Easyjet maybe a better bet. As for London to Paris - Eurostar is the only way to go! Many of us will be heading over on the train so nearer the booking time (90 days ahead) I will remind you that its time to think about booking. This is the way to get the cheapest fare.

Feel free to ask any other questions as I am sure one of us on the other side of the pond should be able to help.

Just ordered our Cat 3 tickets, only to find out a minute later there are still some Cat 2 available at the Olympia site :pirate:
But ahh well, sometimes I need some place around me to dance anyway
Hopefully this time we can find a somewhat better place for the after- show then the TechnoHouse Irish Pub this year! (Paddy Reilly, was it?)
Although I had the pleasure to meet some really nice Parrotheads outside the pub on the 'smoking balcony', hope y'all doing well!

Have a wonderful christmas time, see you in Paris in nine months!
