Ten kids and maybe ten adults in the kid's reading room having fun with Uncle Jim!
Had the opportunity to talk to Jim for a while. What a kind and open man!
He will travel to the Netherlands next week to do shows and workshops at an international school.
He asked me to send him the photos and videos I took. Will post some when I'm back home.
See you gusys tomorrow at Kitty's, eightish.

Ahhhh....just back to the hotel room..... So where to start? went to the Hard Rock this year which was great, met lots of new faces and many friends from before!!! went to get in line around 5:30 and ran into everybody we knew from years past and met yet more new faces!!!! Shared beads and Grog with as many folks in line as was possible!!! Will call was a little different this year and security was tighter......made it in and got organized to start throwing beads to everybody and light up bracelts...... Show was good and jimmy's voice was spot on...no Ilo this year...... Seeded like Jimmy was just warming up and he was singing the encores!! Ahhh welll...... time to go to bed.......

No Jimmy on his bike, but we did get to see the band as they pulled in. Peter Mayer got out and shook some hands. Later Buffett pulled in, rolled the window down, signed some stuff and shook some hands- including mine!fabduo wrote:Glad you had a great time even without me & my sister & our bottle of Patron -Did JB show up on his bike again???prthead99 wrote:Well the show was great. Susan, we missed you. It is definitely worth a trip across the pond to see Buffett at a venue like this! Hope to see you sometime soon!

Re: Who's going to Paris 2011 9-26-11 ??
What a cool weekend that was!
The BN family meeting sunday night was good fun. It was nice meeting some more fellow BuffettNews Parrotheads!
And the singing Australian guys we met at the Kitty O' Sheas had a blast too!
While talking with one of the Ozzies outside a local guy and the girl sitting next to him wanted to know what wer're here for.
The girl got really excited hearing Jimmy Buffett was in town. I offered her popcornjack's ticket, and we agreed to meet monday...
The pre- show party at HRC was nice, lots of funny dressed friendly people from all over the globe having a party.
Met some german Parrotheads which told me about some Parrothead friends of theirs - in Switzerland!
Hopefully convinced them to join buffettnews.com so they can get me in contact with my other swiss 'family members'!
The prices there, as in every HRC, weren't that funny. They even charged me for the ice I needed to cool down my bottle I brought for offering shots to people in the line.
We were in line somewhat past four IIRC, and were pretty much upfront, near the artists entrance.
People seemed to like the Bündner Röteli I offered, and also the chocolats went away pretty fast!
While waiting for the doors to open the girl I met sunday night walked up, and I could finally sell Jack's ticket, who'd had thought that...
Security was indeed a bit tighter this year, but they didn't find my camera, so I could shoot some videos...
We were really near the stage, center. Dutch Harbor PA throwing out his beads and bracelets was fun to watch, people really liked that!
The show was really good, just a bit short, too short, as always! The only thing I didn't really like was hearing Hot Hot Hot first instead of Tequila...
I wonder if people didn't like Nadirah doing Use Me, noone around me was cheering or even dancing...
I too mean to having heard Jimmy mentioning London for next year, like the idea!
I saw Charleston walking off stage with a big dark bottle, hope Jimmy enjoys some Grog!
After the show we headed over to Kitty O' Shea's again to have a good post- party show. I think BN was a prominent part of it!
Thanks to all of you who made this weekend unforgettable for us!
Also Irene, even though she doesn' t really speak english, had a good time meeting all of you!
Wish you all a safe trip home, see you soon, be it at the end of the road in Key West, be it next year at Great Woods, be it next year in London!
