But ahh well, sometimes I need some place around me to dance anyway
Hopefully this time we can find a somewhat better place for the after- show then the TechnoHouse Irish Pub this year! (Paddy Reilly, was it?)
Although I had the pleasure to meet some really nice Parrotheads outside the pub on the 'smoking balcony', hope y'all doing well!

Have a wonderful christmas time, see you in Paris in nine months!

Mike... my name is Tony and i live near Philadelphia in the USA. In the States many venues are outside and have large grass lawn areas for general admission where people stand to watch the show.... those folks are often called "Lawn People" (even by Jimmy)...its similar to what we will be in Paris... the standing crowd (but under roof).

"coin the phrase" is simply im stating it this first and will hope it catches on with other folks.

good to chat with you and hope we can say hello in 9 months!

Thanks for explaining. Of course we have some outside venues as well here in Europe, even in small Switzerland  I have to say I prefer to be in the 'Lawn People' audience. In my opinion, sound quality is better in front of the stage then in the seated area, be it indoors or open air. Simply for the fact that usually the Front of House sound engineer also belongs to the Lawn People and mixes according to what he hears obviously. (Used to be a full time FOH engineer myself...)
And usually in the standing area there is more room to move and dance, which is an important part of a concert experience for me!

Did catch on with me! Yeah, hopefully we can meet next year! Maybe at the preshow gathering, was quite funny this year in the Hard Rock Cafe!

Absolutly agree It was O' Sullivan's and it was freakin' loud..... :o :o :o BUT a big part of the reason why is that the show last year was on a Friday evening....Friday in Paris and all the hot night spots are going to be pumping out the heavy eurobeat..... This year with a Monday night show it might be a bit better..... :D :D :D :D On the otherhand there were many of use who saw how loud it was and went across the street and found seats at the cafe and had some late dinner and drinks there...... it was rather enjoyable...... :D :D 8)

Right, O' Sullivans it was. Only acceptable spot was outside, with a beer and a nice chat!
You have somewhat of a timeshift up north in holland?
Hopefully next year we can get the aftershow party a bit more organized!
And since the show is on a monday there might be a chance to have a gathering / Paris tour / whatever saturday or sunday, no?

Lets start a brainstorming, shall we?

Cat 3 means in line early and close enough to the stage to touch it. You really are very lucky. I am sure we can do better than O'Sullivans especially on a Monday night. Merry Christmas to you and see you in 9 months.

Dutch, thanks for the picture. I think I have a good idea where my chair is, not my seat as I don't plan on sitting.

Debbie - no one said there wouldnt be a London date - just that it wont be in September! Margaret and I are hoping for end June/early July (after Wimbledon). That would be a great time for you and Barb to visit us...........

The Isle of Wight is a great place to visit at that time of year :D
