We have also booked into the same hotel Queen Mary where we stayed last year and will be arriving on the Saturday and returning home on the Tuesday. Flights also are booked. Just so looking forward to seeing you all again - we all had such a good time last year. That bar across the road from the Queen Mary is really nice. Now we can only wait to see if any London dates come up.

Guys

Have finally decided to have our first Paris trip! What is the best way to get tickets, via the venue or the ticket agency? Also are the tickets posted to you or do you pick up at venue?

Any recommendations on reasonable priced hotels?

Any advise welcomed!

Cheers all!

Glad you have decided to come along. Last time we met was in Vegas the other year. I have 2 spare tickets for standing in the stalls. If you wish to purchase these contact please contact me. Quite a few of us are staying at the Queen Mary hotel but it is not cheap!! Most of the hotels in Paris near the Olympia are quite expensive.

One thing to think about - don't arrive at the last minute. You need time to get into the time zone but more importantly there is always the chance of a 'pre show'

Enjoy the planning.....

Wonder does Jimmy ever stop by here?maybe he would especially so for the Paris show what with folk travelling from all over the world to be there.Anyway if he does, maybe we should nominate those French influenced songs of his that we'd most like to hear.He always does more of them in Paris than at any other show.I for one would love to hear Coast Of Marseilles again. He played it at the last show at New Morning a couple years back and it was a real thrill to hear him play it.

It was nice to meet you Jack at the Tampa show this past weekend. Next onto WPB and closing the finland tour in Paris.

The tailgating in Tampa was amazing but I must say that my heart always belong to Paris and Jimmy in Paris. It seemed that when he was in Paris it wasn't just a job, it seemed to me that he really enjoyed the venue and seems to connect with everyone more. He played for a longer time period and more of my favorites. JMO.

We are also staying at our same place as last year on Isle de Cite. We loved our 2/2 flat and listening to sight and sounds with ND right there and river steps away. We arrive on Friday and leave 2 weeks later. We are also going back to Volkfest in Germany and visiting with our friends Cheryl and Luc who will also be at the concert.

SE of Disorder.

Just booked flights and hotel.Staying at the France Albion Hotel.Used other hotels in previous years but it rates pretty okay on Tripadvisor. And also importantly, it looks to be at most a 15 minute walk/stumble from the Olympia!
19 weeks tonight!!

Stupid medical bills....

Looks like I've got an extra ticket for the show, so let me know if anyone is interested. I'm having it mailed to me, and am hoping to enlist Swiss to work as the middleman, as I'll be able to hand it off to him at Great Woods.
