Tom Corcoran seems to think it's Vince Melamed, said that he did keyboard work with Jimmy around that time period!

Well, I'm sure glad I started all this. (I think I have forgotten what the other 3 questions were.) I sent an email to Miles Hampton asking if he knew anything but no response. I sort of think it sounds like Peter O'Toole but find it hard to believe that he and Jimmy have ever met.

Maybe one of the Coral Reefers know or even Charleston. I bet Charleston would answer our emails.

And out of sheer desperation I just sent an email to Steve Huntington.

Steve,
We have a thread going on Buffett News about who recorded the poem at the start of Gypsies. Do you or anyone else at RM know who it is? Is it top secret? Could you tell us but then you would have to kill us? Could we find it on Wikileaks? The guesses are getting pretty funny.

Here’s the link to thread. Any help you can give will be appreciated.

Can't hurt to try.

I'll put agent Double Duck 7 on it. The Case of the Mysterious Voice.
Sounds more "Nancy Drewish" than "James Bondish".

Hmmm. Very in ter rest ing! I’m beginning to think the information is classified. Well, with you and Duckett on the trail, I’m sure the mystery will be solved soon.

Harrison Ford is the whip cracker, but (lymi) no way is that Patrick Stewart. James Mason is possible though.
