Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
Target
In the display with the above mentioned paper pletes etc. I saw a truly kicky item. A singing and dancing palm tree with lights on it. It play, Jump In The Line and the lights blink as the tree sways.
We got one of these a couple years ago. What fun. We have it out all year long in out PH room and for the holidays we use it in our tropical Christmas display.
Again there was no price listed but I'm thinking it should be between $14.99-$19.99
I'll check for the price again when I'm in the store this week.

We went to a Target while we were in Ohio (which is WAY bigger than our Target here) and they had tissue boxes with hula girls that move as you move the box. You know that kinda reflective picture that changes when light hits it differently.

Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
thanks for the tips on Target things
Couldn't find the fin ice mold, but I'll keep looking
In their front area they have 2 pack kitchen towels with embroidered palm trees, hibiscus flowers, and flip flops. They are $2.50 a pack and cute enough I had to have all three sets...

Good find. I love their bins in the front of the store. I saw the towels. They are very nice quality. Glad you bought them.
You can order the fin ice mold online at: wilton.com
You also might be able to buy the mold on the Target site or have customer service order one that you can pick up at the store.

Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
The following I saw at Kohls today.
They have the flip flop United We Stand shirt again this year for $4.99. Its an off purple color.

They have Flamingo and Parrot clips for your towels to your chair, on sale for $6.99

And kitchen towels, 2 packs, which I believe were $5.99? Not as good as Target's $1 bin but these were cute:

I use the parrot clips to hold up my banners on our canopy at tailgates. They work great!

Re: 2011 SHOPPING REPORT
FYI our Walmart had the same clips for $5.99 a set, which was still cheaper than Kohl's with my 30% off coupon (not that it mattered, I got them at Kohl's cuz they were cool...) They had parrots as well, but for some reason I want to say the colors were more blue and red rather than the tropical colors in the pic. But don't quote me on that--it was a few weeks' back

Kohl's always has a nice selection of tropical things. Gotta check them out next week. Really liked the t-shirt and and kitchen towels.
We got the towel clips as year when they were at Target. They work well.

Was making a quick stop at WalMart and found a neat cooler bag. It was located near tools. They were on an end cap display.
Brand: Ozark Trail
Has dual pockets. One side is for cold storage and the other for dry storage. It holds 10 cans and ice.
It is lime green and the front top is trimmed in flip flops.
Price: $8.99

Marshall's has Eco insulated glasses with lids and a Palm Tree pattern on the glass. Real nice.
Price: $3.99 each.
They were on a table in the front of the store with other glasses and travel mugs.

I went back to Burke's Outlet to see if they got the Caribbean Soul flipflops in? I didn't find any, so they either sold out while we were MIA or they didn't send that store any.
Took bad...you know I would buy whatever they had in my size!!![cheeky-grin [smilie=cheeky-grin.gif]](./images/smilies/cheeky-grin.gif)

I don't think they got any, as the store in Beaufort, SC didn't get any either.springparrot wrote:I went back to Burke's Outlet to see if they got the Caribbean Soul flipflops in? I didn't find any, so they either sold out while we were MIA or they didn't send that store any.

Costco in Mountain View, CA, a scant 1 mile from the legendary Shoreline Amphitheater and still without a fall concert date, has a Margaritaville soles of the tropic kiosk. A number of different styles in both mens and womens sandals and flip flops. Also, some T-shirts. About 20 to 40% less than the online price.

Received the parrot clips as a gift and use them to hold down my beach towel on my chair. I love them! Thanks, Michelle.
