So far, none of our stores have them.
The Dollar Tree by us has the wind socks and some of the table toppers
out. Manager said trucks come in on Tues. at the store and he has had
others in asking about getting out the tropical items. BUT said with Easter
they will only put out a few items until there is empty shelf on items sold out
for Easter. (Hope that all makes sense)
I went by Big Lots on the way home last night they had some items out
but not the items for tailgate. Was told that the trucks come in at that
store on Fridays.
I figured they were waiting for Easter shelves to empty, but I want to start buying NOW

Price: $8.95
I'll be ordering these for tailgating this concert season! Luv em!!
We were talking about these on the setlist the other night. I said I've been wanting one for a couple of years now so a couple of people sent me websites. I went to the Amazon site and read a few of the reviews. Whoever wrote the top negative review was not a happy customer. Said they "float on their sides more like a dead goldfish in water than shark fins." Not so sure I'll order one now.
I'm still going to order one. I figure that it is not that much money and if it works to my satisfaction it will be worth it. It is just to cool to pass up. (no pun intended) For that price I can't go wrong.
Can you let us know if they work, please?
I ordered these from Amazon a few weeks ago. They do float on their side at first but eventually they stand up. The fin was kinda melted down before it stood up. You have to be kina careful when popping them out because the fin is really thin and can break easily.
But they are cute and cool and yes I would order them again. I have only used them once or twice……… but I have a mold for a big shark ice ring that I found on clearance at Target and have not even used it yet. It was posted on this thread last year and I could not find it at our store and then at the end of last year in the back of the store on a clearance shelf, low and behold……..there it was.
Thanks so much for the report! I tried to find the fin ice ring last year too, but our Target didn't have it. Maybe I should dig around again.
I was also in our Dollar Tree and Big Lots yesterday. Dollar Tree is still packed with Easter stuff so I don't think the tropical things will be out anytime soon. I'm also very disappointed that Big Lots really didn't have anything tropical. I hope that changes - we've always had pretty good luck there.

Just found these from Jelly Belly. They were at my local Bon Ton with their Easter candy display. $6 on sale for $3.99 for a 4.5 oz box. They should be available any where that sells Jelly Belly jellybeans.
Hoping to find these in our Easter Baskets.

Giant Eagle now has new flavors of Crystal Light for summer. They are Peach Bellini and Pomtini. Last year's Margarita is also in stock after selling out last year.
Didn't expect to see them this early, but then didn't expect to have 80 degree days this early either.
Wonder if it's a coincidence that they appeared on the shelves on the same day that Jimmy announced the Pittsburgh concert date.

Found a small sampling of luau items.......Margarita glasses, plastic plates on an end cap at a local Dollar Tree. I spoke with the manager and she said they are still waiting to get summer items in. They won't have room on the shelves till after Easter. So she expects a truck full arriving this week.
So as Easter approaches I suggest we all start stalking Dollar Tree. They have consistently sold a very good variety of luau items for $1. I can't wait to see what items they have this year^^^^
However, did get a pleasant surprise at Giant Eagle. Kool-aid has 2 new summer flavors: Strawberry Kiwi; Peach Mango. Haven't tried the strawberry one yet, but did try the peach mango - leave it on the shelf (wink, wink)- - so there will be more of it for us. It even smells good in powder form. Two good flavors to give to the keets some tropical fun - and the adults can enjoy too.
