The cover story for the November/December 2001 issue of Stroke Smart is about Jimmy's mom. The article is titled "Changes in Attitudes: Stroke Touches Jimmy Buffett's Family." It discusses the stroke Peetsy Buffett suffered 5 years ago and how her family is dealing with the aftermath. On the cover is a picture of Jimmy's mom, his sister, Lucy, and his niece, Melanie, along with an inset photo of Jimmy. The magazine is published by the National Stroke Association. They have a website at http://www.stroke.org. Currently, the September/October issue is on the website but, I assume, this issue will be posted there soon.

I had a massive cerebral aneurysm rupture in May of this year, and was SO lucky not to stroke out, but it is always a possibility now for me. Thanks for the info about the site, its much appreciated!!
