Red Sox hold a 1 game lead on Tampa Bay with 3 games to play for the AL Wildcard.
Boston is at Baltimore while the Rays are at New York. Even though the Sox haven't played well recently (that's putting as kindly as I can....) I like their chances against the Orioles over TB's chances with the Yanks.

I'm a lifelong Orioles fan....these past 14 years have been painful! I've tried to switch teams, but just can't....it's a sickness.tigzoe wrote:Thank you for being kind! Sorry Ed. I just looked at the standings. I'd love to see the Red Sox hold on. If the pitching can just get back to okay instead of brutal we'll be fine. I do fear the Yanks will roll over and let the Rays jump in the playoffs over us though. I'll stick to my early season prediction at this point though. Red Sox vs. Brewers, Red Sox in 6. I'm such a homer...
