All Buffett, All The Time!

Life is short... forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile.

Re: Winterizing Jimmy
I actually listen more in the winter. I'm indoors almost all the time and it takes me to a warmer clime and helps me get through the cold weather. Just puts me in a warm state of mind.
Every day you wake up you get another chance to do it right.

Re: Winterizing Jimmy
I listen to JB and RM all year long.....
It's been well documented in BN before, but being a fan of Jimmy and listening to Radio Margaritaville (as well as Beach Front Radio, Conch Republic Radio, and others) has really allowed me be exposed to so many more artists that I would have otherwise never heard of........thanks, Jimmy!

On most days I say: "Wrinkles only go where the smiles have been...."
Sometimes I can only say: "There is no dumbass vaccine......"
If something or someone gets you down, just remember: "In a hundred years it all won’t matter.........."

Re: Winterizing Jimmy
I listen to Jimmy all year around as his music represents more than summer time for me. When the Michigan winter hits I listen to RadioMargaritaville to remind me that winter will eventually turn into spring.

Here we are, maybe it's because in spite of all the work we do
It's the child in us we really value
Here we are, with our fins up and our feathers flashing
Here we are, with our coconut shell brassieres chanting

Re: Winterizing Jimmy
I watched the GS show on a cold, windy Snowy day a couple of weeks ago.
It didn't help my mood any.
I got my free tickets to the Birmingham boat show in the mail a couple of days after that.
That didn't help any either.
Winter Sucks. There is no if and or buts about it.
Snow sucks.
Cold wind sucks.
Cuddling by the fire sucks (compared to cuddling on a dock down at the lake
)
Scraping windows to drive sucks.
At least I have only till late February and life will start to get good again.
My goal in life is to put on a light jacket and head south till people ask me what that is. Then go 10 miles further and settle down.

Re: Winterizing Jimmy
I'm the opposite. I tend to listen to "Trop Rock" music (including JB) moreso in the winter. I NEED to keep that Island state of mind come winter time & I sure can't get it looking out my window!!
