Waiting on a call from Redding or Louis....maybe Bennett...Did I mention she has 8 children? She raised them alone, all college graduates, and all really good people...I've gotten to know them again since moving here...Aunt Fran came here several times to see Dad, and always brought one of them...and of course when Dad passed away, she was here with 2 of my cousins...What a help she was!

Just pulled into the Tampa fairgrounds! SO EXCITING!! Gonna scope out the tailgating sites later on. Cant wait to meet everybody and so sad we won't get to meet those who can't make it

I know family. Silly sounding thing for me to say because I'm a loser at keeping in touch with second cousins and first aunts, once removed, but I know family, and I know losing them.

that being said:

You have done so much for so many people that now it is time for you to do something for yourself. Maybe you can't; maybe there are things scheduled that you can't control, and you have to be there for the reason/person this is so important; your aunt.

But if not, take the h*ll care of yourself!! Don't say to me you don't deserve the time. Don't say to me other people than you are more important. DON'T SAY TO ME IT'S NOT IMPORTANT TO TAKE CARE OF MYSELF WHEN I SHOULD BE TAKING CARE OF OTHERS.

You deserve to be taken care of. You have done so much I don't have enough adjectives to describe your selfless, pure hearted nature. You are my NBF because you are my N. B. F. My eyes tear up thinking about how much I love you and how important it is to me (and yes, I'll be selfish) to see you this weekend.

I don't know the entire family dynamic and i don't know what's going on (and if I'm true to me I screwed it up spectacularly) specifically but I know, as much as you love everyone else and will do/would any and every thing for anyone but yourself, do something for the most deserving woman I know...

Well said. I left her a message a little while ago to let her know that the offer to ride with us still stands. We don't leave until 700am Friday.
