If we don't hear about Alpine before Monday, I'm on the phone Monday morning trying to get tickets for Detroit. This is getting ridiculous.

:D :D :D Yay! I'll see ya there! Sorry about Alpine fans twisting in the wind though....

Ticketmaster has Jimmy playing in Camden, NJ on June 23rd. I think that rules out him playing Alpine on the 25th. I'm thinking the Saturday after the Indiana show, August 27th looks like a pretty good bet right now!!

All will be revealed next week.
As I said on the 2011 tour rumor thread....JB will play Alpine on June 25th.
Hear me now, believe me later.
Stop and think for just a minute. If Steve is telling us June 25th and already planning his Buffett party at Hemingways for the 24th, and the party is being planned at Two Seasons Bowl with the Reefers for the night before as previously mentioned......that should be a good indication right there...
Oh, by the way, my source has been a VIP seasonticket holder at Alpine Valley for many years...and very well connected with some folks at Live Nation....
I am just trying to help my fellow BN'ers get dibs on hotel rooms before all hell breaks loose when the date is formally announced. If you don't wish to believe me then suit yourself.

We've all been following Jimmy's tour a long time now.

I don't ever remember an example where he would travel halfway across the country in two days to play, which is what would have to
happen if he would play Alpine on the 25th. Plus, I just don't think the logistics involved from moving the tour from New Jersey on
a Thursday to Wisconsin on a Saturday are possible.

The Saturday after the Indiana show, August 27, or even the Saturday after the Chicago show, July 30th seem more likely to me!!

At this point I'd be happy with any date. This waiting game is very discouraging.

Chz - May want to review last several years. No issue once so ever for them to play East Coast on Thursday and be at Alpine on Saturday or vis-versa. In fact in happens often (full day travel between shows) for the years I have been involved. ASSUMING the June date (;-) ;-) ;-) ), the tour buses and stage productions leave after show on Thursday, arrive Lake Geneva late morning/early afternoon Friday; off Friday night; setup Sat morning, sound test 2-3pm Sat afternoon, play Sat nite, pack up and take 31/2 weeks off (oops). So I think June is still quite plasuable, but ONLY Jimmy knows:-) Expecting something this week.

This year, I may bow out of Alpine unless I can find a group that's going (last year ended up in the Green Lot, NOT a lot of fun walking back to the other lots....I know that they're planning on setting that lot up for camping, but still.)

I think I'd still like to make Steve's Anniversary, so I'll start looking to book a hotel room this week (does anyone have any recommendations other than Lake Lawn Resort? I want to try something different :) )
