Okay, so I've heard enough rumors that I'm ready to book hotel rooms. Trying to make my way back to Alpine after taking a few years off (got married, had a kid, life kinda got in the way for a few years there). Anyway, so far the closest thing I can find is the Comfort Suites in Delavan. Anyone ever stayed there? Is it okay? Will we see other Parrotheads there?

Okay, it's official. This is an e-mail I received this morning from Alpine.

Hello,

Jimmy Buffett will be at Alpine on Sat June 25th. We do not have an on sale date yet, so keep your eyes and ears open.

Sorry, Finns. I hope you're right, but I want it a little more official than that. :-?

I have stayed at Baymont Inn & Suites (262) 534-4100 - 750 Fox Ln, Waterford, WI
Very nice. Close to fast food and gas stations. Not to expensive and about 15 min from alpine..
Met a few Parrotheads there also..

I'm with FinsU.P. on this one. While I agree that is is more than likely that Jimmy will be at Alpine on the 25th, I'm going to refrain from getting too excited until I see confirmation on livenation.com or margaritaville.com with an on sale date!

TOUGH CROWD [smilie=asa.gif] [smilie=asa.gif]

Regardless, I have started the discussion on the pre concert gathering forum.

Someone said fairly early it was going to be the 25th, hmmmmm

Let the planning, ticket scouring, and hotel raping begin!

Anyone who needs help, let us know, will do our best to get you connected.

Is it June yet?!!!

I have stayed at the Two-Seasons Bowl 5 years and yes you do not need to camp there to do the Friday night festivities or the Saturday bus ride. There is a Hampton Inn close to the bowling alley but they have rooms blocked for weddings right now and they will not be released until the month of May. There is a little motel right next to the bowling alley but they do not take reservations this far out so you could call back in May and you might be able to get in. Or you could also camp either tent or RV's are welcome. The busses are nice on Saturday you pay around $35.00 a person but Bruce also puts around 6 to 7 cases of beer on each bus, (I recommend bringing your own cooler full of drinks for back up the free stuff goes quick.) If you need any more info let me know.

I'd be happy to see it on the home page here or even on Live Nation or Ticketmaster.

I tried calling Alpine's main number, (262) 642-4400, to see if anyone would tell me anything about a date. It rang and rang and went to voice mail. If someone has some free time, the system had many extension choices. Maybe you can try a few and try and find someone nice to talk to!

I tried but they kept repeating "We are now closed for the season" after almost every extention option.
