Re: Who's Going to Great Woods !!??
Pretty sure that tickets go on sale 2/19/.
Why people would buy tickets the day they go on sale escapes me. Better off to wait - you'll get better seats without the hassle of waiting with the masses.
On a side note I just took a sailing trip to Abaco. That place is f*cking gorgeous.

I often wait as I usually buy singles...I've scored some very nice seats on a last minute basis. But it's tough to find two or more decent seats together if you wait though.drunkpirate66 wrote:Pretty sure that tickets go on sale 2/19/.

Re: Who's Going to Great Woods !!??
I must really need a vacation. I am debating about doing both shows, if there are two. I am thinking about doing the lawn one night and seats the other night. Just like KW, there is too much going on and to see to try and squeeze everything into one day (or one vacation).

That would work for me. I am off that day. Last year was a pain getting tickets while I was working.drunkpirate66 wrote:Pretty sure that tickets go on sale 2/19/.

Because I'm one of those anal retentive people who has to KNOW I have a ticket- and yes I generally upgrade but then I get to make someone happy with my OLD seat because I seldom even ask for face on my extras. Besides, I like the adrenaline rush of ticket day.

Depends... If you know the venue like we do and you pull singles at the first moment, you know whether you got lucky and scored big or whether you should toss it back and wait to see what pops up later.drunkpirate66 wrote:Why people would buy tickets the day they go on sale escapes me. There will most likely be one less person trying for tickets so it might be a little easier this year.ScarletB wrote:I know, I sit here like a moron saying the letters out loud and TYPING....THEM.....VERRYYY...... Re: Who's Going to Great Woods !!??
If your looking for Lawn tickets better to get them the day they go on-sale. It is not often they release Lawn tickets after they are "sold out". For pavilion seats, waiting to buy them is usually the best bet for better seats.SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Depends... I'd LOVE to do GW again this year but it doesn't look like I'll have the funds to make the trip. I might be able to get tix but transportation will be a pain in the rear end. If I go, I'll most likely camp at Canoe River (28 bux a night).

Is everyone still thinking June? We might be able to do it if it's June........
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
