Yup, went outside nice and early and cleaned the driveway. And for once I didn't mind. Lots of ice to beat the crap out of to get rid of some frustration. Quite therapeutic! Now I am watching m rocket scientist of a dog trying to get something off his tail while standing in the bay window.drunkpirate66 wrote:As long as we get tour dates by the end of April (and Jimmy doesn't demean us to the level of a Monday show in May) I really don't care. We know there are going to be 2 shows - there are always 2 shows and that they will probably be in June. 'Nuff said.
On a side note . . . for all the New Englanders out there . . . today is f*cking gorgeous. It is a perfect Winter day so get off your as$es and enjoy it. Please.I am going cross country skiing out near Nickerson State Park on the Cape. Then shots. Always shots. Good for the soul and liver - don't believe that lying son of a b*tch Surgeon General. Then my dad's for a bbq and football. FINS The F*CK UP!!!! Enjoy the day . . . from the other side of your windows.
Are those a Scandanavian dish? Is this a nod to FinLand???gunthermoose wrote:Testing new items for the tailgate...

According to a source - who shall remain nameless - Jimmy saw this post and moved the tour date announcement back another day . . . so we are right where we were yesterday. He is a sadistic old f*cker.
Does anyone else find it ironic that one tree was chopped down and used to build a wooden cover to protect a tree that didn't work when snow fell on it? Kharma? I say yes.ScarletB wrote:drunkpirate66 wrote:Ragtop Girl wrote:One day closer till we hear the concert dates![]()

It was the 9th last year - here's hoping. Snow coming off the roof completely flattened a tree in front of my house AND shattered the big huge wooden cover that my neighbor built to protect it. Took 45 minutes to dig it out to try to save the tree - I felt like a St Bernard in an avalanche! A little vanilla rum took the muscle kinks away! I'm ready for 2 concerts and a day at the 'Comah!

Tickets are on sale the 26th according to my friend who works at the ticket office at the Boston Garden. Subject to change-but that was the "alert" he got. But the concert isn't for another half a year.ScarletB wrote:drunkpirate66 wrote:Ragtop Girl wrote:One day closer till we hear the concert dates![]()

One tree died so another tree could die. Sometimes this world is cruel. Death by 5 inch ice. Vermont = certain doom for all holy creations. Jimmy . . . we need two more tour dates.ScarletB wrote:drunkpirate66 wrote:Does anyone else find it ironic that one tree was chopped down and used to build a wooden cover to protect a tree that didn't work when snow fell on it? Gimme a breakI've lived here for 7 years and never had this kind of problem with my roof-fall. I've never seen 5 inch thick pieces of ice come crashing down
There's a rumor going around that he's coming over to play my backyard, but I can neither confirm nor deny thatlime rickie wrote:Aside from Gillette has Jimmy played any other New England venues? Are concerts ever held at that Nascar track in NH?
