Hello to all,
Wondering if we(Steve and Margaret) could get some info and help for our possible 1st out of area road trip to see JB. We'd be flying in to Raleigh on monday morning and were wondering what their is to do in town and if we could crash a tailgate of Bn's. We of course would contribute to the cost of the taigate. Any info on hotels or whether we should rent a car or can we make it around by cabs or public transportation would be great. We have traveled to Philly\Camden4x's, AC2x's, Mohegan Sun plus our local venues Jones Beach2x's and MSG2x's, but not having any of our own tailgating gear would leave us feeling naked. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks
Steve

Naked is a good start!
I'd get a car, go to the Q shack, take a nap and visit the pre-concert bash the local PHC is putting together on Monday!

Welcome! Several peeps are staying at a Best Western that's about 4 miles from venue. I scoped it out this weekend...pretty straight shot. If you search Best Western online, it's the one on New Bern Road. Sorry, but I don't have any other details. And of COURSE you're welcome to join the BN gang!!!

Todd Snider's at the
ArtsCenter in Carrboro on the 17th. Tix will go fast so if you're serious about attending, I'd buy them right away. For more info on local eats, nightlife, etc. check Durham's
Independent Weekly. New issues are published every Wednesday, the online edition is available on Thursdays. Another very invaluable source for local info is
The Stagger. Any other questions, feel free to send a PM.

Terri has already said No. I think she doesn't want to see me grow a mullet between now and then.

OK Gang, here's the scoop...
The Parrotheads of North Carolina (
http://phofnc.com/) will be hosting a Pre-Concert Party at Rally Pointe Sports Bar in Cary, NC on Monday 4/18. We're still working on details, but if you remember our past parties...let's just say we try to top them! We'll have Cornhole, a live band, raffles and fun. Rally is right off I-40 about 20 mins SW of Raleigh. Their website is
http://rallypointsportgrill.com/ check'em out.
I'll update here as the situation develops!
