Anyone have a realistic drive time from Memphis to this tailgate? Google says 5 hours. guess I'll do it just to make sure. I don't want to miss out on my meet-up for my tickets.

When I bought the tickets online to the May 3rd show, they tempt you before checkout with VIP access for 20 "plus" more dollars. This time I caved and bought it. We've been to 12 shows all over the midwest and have never done anything like this. Has anyone done this before and what does it include? Does it include parking? Or is it just the VIP area inside the venue. Maybe we'll see some of the Clinton County Parrothead Club people we met at the Jimmy and the Parrots show in Carlyle. Phins Up!

VIP parking is up front it is easy in and easy out after the concert. They have there own lane for exit. Other than that I dont think anything else is included.

Clinton County will be there. There will be several up by the STL PHC tailgate. We also will be stopping in but have our own tailgate to set up. Pamesoo and I also were at Jimmy and the Parrots. Stop on by and say hello. We will have 4 flags flying from 2 20' poles.

TOMORROW!! Can't wait to abuse the old liver again!! Lets just hope the STL show is as good as KC was! That was a really good set list!!!!
Hopefully you will see the fins l and r plates on the big screen two concerts in a row!!

We'll be on the road soon and excited to see Jimmy in StLou again as well as all you parrotheads! ETA about 12:30.

Arrived from Boston yesterday and hope my friend Gwen (a Buffett virgin) and I can find some of you all today in the parking lot. We went out to eat in Edwardsville last night and long story short wound up making friends with a young man who has connections with someone in Jimmy's flight team. He told John that Jimmy would be arriving in St. Louis around 3:00 today.

Just drove by Verizon at noon...Beautiful day for a concert!! See you there!

They say they will let folks start parking at 3:00. If it is like past years, it will be before 3:00. The line of cars gets so long, it becomes a safety hazard to keep the gates shut. Tailgateing is permitted for a Buffett concert. We won't be there till 5:00 or a little later.
