Sail on Don! I used to watch that show when I was a kid (and had the stamina to stay up late).

I hadn't thought about that show in years and was very young when it was on but I loved it! Sail on, Don and thanks for introducing me to some great rock-n-roll artists.

Sail on Don.
I remember bugging my parents to stay up to watch it, midnight, when certain people were on. I remember staying up to watch Peter Frampton. Big crush.
My brother has a bunch of his shows on dvd's. Talk about flash backs.

Oh, this show was must-see TV for me when I was growing up. And remember Paul Schaeffer's hilarious imitation of Don on early SNL?
Sail on, Don.

Sail on Don, your years with the "Brill Building School of Music" certainly made music better.

Re: Sail on Don Kirshner
How could anyone forget it? For a trip down memory lane click here. Don Kirshner's Rock Concert was as big a part of my Saturday night as were the glory years of SNL and Monty Python's Flying Circus on PBS. However, I was none too pleased when they broke for a commercial right in the middle of the Edgar Winter Group's "Frankenstein".lime rickie wrote:Oh, this show was must-see TV for me when I was growing up. I loved Rock Concert!! My mom and dad hated me and my older bro watching it...we would keep getting up out of our chairs and go turn up the volume!!!!
I want to go back down and lie beside the sea there.
